Q. What TYPES OF HAIRSTYLES does the Selector offer?
A. Practically every kind, from classic to wild, from edgy to elegant! Both Women and Men can select any combination of short, medium or long lengths, in wavy, straight or curly textures. Women can also choose Casual or Formal, and Updo versions. Unleash your daring side with the "Alt" styles (a huge section of Emo, Scene, Goth and more). There's oodles of celebrity hairstyles in every category (all your favorites like Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, David Beckham, Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron and many others). Q. Can I set a DEFAULT HAIR COLOR for every style to appear in as I try it on?
A. Yes, plus the Catalog itself! Click the "Hair Color" icon in the left control panel to bring up the Color Chart (see images at left) and use this time-saving feature, which will also display the entire Catalog Gallery in your selected hue on a model of your choice (you can view pages of Emo styles in gorgeous purple). Revert back with the "original color" tab -- and even change HIGHLIGHT COLORS with the Highlights Chooser (see right).

Q. Can I upload MORE THAN ONE VERSION of my photo?
A. Yes! As a member you can upload as many pictures of yourself as you like, and switch back and forth (i.e., different expressions, different types and colors of clothing, etc.)

Q. What type PHOTO OF MYSELF should I use, and how do I upload my picture to my private gallery?
A. Use a head-and-shoulders photo, looking directly at the camera, with your hair tied back -- make all of your face visible, as well as your ears -- this way you can try on hairstyles of any type! Be sure your snapshot is clear, focused and well-lit. A plain white background is best. To upload: Log into your account and click the "Add Photo" icon on the left panel (jpg format, at least 200x250 pixels, less than 1 Mb). The Virtual Hairstyle Selector includes a photo editor to optimize your picture; the adjustment console at the bottom lets you fine-tune the positioning if needed.

Q. Under "Makeup," how do I get the LIPSTICK and EYE MAKEUP to fit perfectly on my picture?
A. Select the "Align" tab in the Makeup panel and use the tracing tools (see image at left). Tracing is not needed for the Blush and Foundation.

Q. Is it possible to SAVE a finished image for instant access later?
A. Just select "Save to Favs" in the lower left panel. Favorites can be retrieved (click icon on left panel to view saved collection), added or deleted in seconds, and you can print or share your images as well.

Q. I'm a guy. How do I see virtual hairstyles for MEN?
A. Above the catalog, click "Styles," select "Men's," select the elasticity and length you want, click "Select" (or use the "Try On" icon in the hairstyles information area, outside the Selector). Click "Change Models," pick "Male," or upload your own photo!

Q. Will MORE hairstyles be added?
A. Great new styles of all types, all textures, all lengths, are added regularly!

Q. What HAIR COLORS in particular does the Selector offer?
A. The Selector's Hair Color Chart offers dozens of popular hues that wear many names: Brunette, Brown (Bronze, Caramel, Chestnut, Hazelnut, Mocha, etc.), Blond/Blonde (Platinum, Sandy, etc.), Raven/Black, Titian, Red (Burgundy, Ginger, Ruby, etc.), Grey/Gray, Purple/Violet, Auburn, Ash, Autumn, Copper, Gold/Golden, or White -- in tones ranging from Light to Medium to Dark!

Q. Where do I select MODELS until I upload my own photo?
A. On the left panel, click "Change Model" and choose female or male (see images at right). And when you upload, remember that you can add multiple versions of yourself (see below)!

Q. Can the Selector AUTOMATICALLY find the best hairstyles -- and hair colors -- for my FACE?
A. Certainly! Access Wizard mode by clicking "Hair Consultations" -- and in moments, try hairstyles & colors based on your face shape, skin tone, eye color, desired length and other specifics you enter (wear glasses?). For guys, too! There's also options for updo and formal -- the Wizard even matches styles to the formal dress you'll be wearing  (spaghetti straps? lace? asymmetrical?...). The Selector can alter the suggestions any way you like.

A. For help anytime, click the blue "Help" button in the left panel -- there's also a customer service department ready to assist you. Most styles also include styling steps for home perms.
